PARTS NOT LISTED ARE NOT COVERED) 1. ENGINE: Heads,
crankshaft and bearings, crankshaft pulley, connecting rods, pistons, piston
rings, rod and main bearings, oil pump, timing chain/belt (only if broken), and
tensioner, timing gears, camshaft and camshaft bearings, pushrods, exhaust and
intake valves, valve springs, distributor housing, distributor shaft and gear,
metal intake and exhaust manifolds, rocker arms, rocker arm shaft and hydraulic
lifters. The engine block is covered only if damaged by failure of a covered component
listed above.
2. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: Input
and output shafts, planetary assemblies, reaction carrier, center support,
parking lock actuator, stator and stator shaft, separator plate, pressure
regulator valve, dipstick and filler tube, sprags, governor assembly, front
pump, gears, bearings, valve body, torque converter and overdrive carrier. The
transmission case is covered only if damaged by the failure of a covered
component listed above.
3. STANDARD TRANSMISSION: Gears, input and output shafts, overdrive housing and
bearings, the transmission case is covered only if damaged by the failure of a
covered component listed above. The flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate and
throwout bearing are NOT covered.
4. DRIVE AXLE ASSEMBLY (FRONT OR REAR WHEEL
DRIVE): Ring and pinion gears, bearings, thrust washers,
carrier assembly, universal and CV joints (unless boots are torn or missing),
axle shaft, drive shaft. The drive axle
housing is covered only if damaged by the failure of a covered component listed
above.
5. 4 WHEEL DRIVE OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE: Gears, main shaft, bearings, sprockets, chain,
locking hubs. The differential housing and transfer case is covered only if
damaged by failure of a covered component listed above.
6. ELECTRICAL: Alternator and starter.
7. STEERING: Power
steering pump, rack and pinion assembly, steering gear housing and its internal
parts, Tie rod ends inner/outer.
8. COOLING SYSTEM: Water pump, engine-cooling fan motor, fan clutch,
radiator, engine thermostat.
13. SEALS
AND GASKETS: Seals and
gaskets are covered only in conjunction with an above-listed covered component.
Failed seals and gaskets by themselves are NOT covered.
